INFORMATION: Published by Joseph Foret and Les Heures Claires, the Divine Comedy illustrated by Dali constitutes one of the monuments of publishing and one of the most famous works of the Master. She has
required the engraving of more than 3,500 wood pieces and nearly 4 years of work (1960/63) and to convey all the finesse of the illustrations created by Dali.

Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) is a surrealist painter, draughtsman, sculptuor, lithograph, writter, photographer from catalan origins. Born Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, known as Salvador Dalí, Titled "Marqués de Dalí de Púbol" by the king of Spain in 1982.
He is considered as one of the major figures of surrealism and most famous painters of the 20th century.
