He trained as a graphic designer, then at the School of Graphic Arts in Frankfurt, before setting up his own studio as an advertising painter, decorator and poster designer. In 1960-1961, he made his first long stay in Paris, centered on Montmartre, before returning in 1963 to live permanently in France. He began to practice lithography in 1970 with the Vision Nouvelle editions. Painter and lithographer of landscapes, his work covers Paris, the castles of the Loire, Normandy, the Côte d’Azur, Venice or New York. He also produces advertising illustrations for the press as well as numerous murals in public and private places.
