Jean Carzou :
(Of his birth name Karnik Zouloumian) French-armenian painter, engraver and decorator born in Alep in 1907. He studies architecture in Paris, before being known for the publication of politicians' caricatures. He is now famous for his many engravings and paintings presented in a hundred of exhibitions in France and around the world.
But Carzou also creates costumes and sets for prestigious troups such as The "Opéra de Paris" or The "Comédie Française". He decorates The Chapel of the Convent's Church of Manosque (Now Carzou Foundation). He enters the Fine-Arts Academy in 1977.
