INFORMATION: Bernard Buffet made several redoes with black pastel, notably the edges of sidewalks and the shops at the bottom of buildings, thus reinforcing certain features. These modifications also appear on the numbered edition of this engraving. We can therefore assume that the Artists' Proofs correspond to the first state of the engraving.
REFERENCE: This engraving will appear in the second volume of the catalog raisonné of engravings currently being prepared by the Galerie Garnier.
