Condition: In overall good condition, with soft handling creases at the edges. May have some minor stains in the margins. Image very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors.

Antoni Clavé : Born in 1913 in Barcelona Antoni Clavé is a catalan painter. He was also a theater decorator, illustrator (Carmen, Gargantua) and sculptor. In 1941, he settled his first workshop in Paris and met Picasso three years later. Very inspired by corrida, he produced many lithographs on the subject. In the early 1950's, he worked with Roland Petit but decided to paint and stop decoration in 1954. Clavé reached the success in the late 1950's. His work is known in France, US, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden. The artist died in 2005 in Saint-Tropez.
