Gérard Fouquet photographed celebrities from the world of arts and entertainment from the late 1970s onwards, and continued for several decades. Accompanied by his wife, they created a
A substantial amount of work, combined with their passion - and armed with patience - in meeting their "stars" and obtaining "the image". They thus immortalized actresses and actors of the 7th art of American and French cinema, from Paris to Deauville via the Cannes Film Festival, in sometimes unprecedented moments. Once the photo was taken, the photographer had the print developed and came back to see the image
personality to ask for his "autograph" signature. Thus, over the years, the couple collected hundreds of black and white or color silver prints, some celebrities personally dedicating the photographs to them. A significant collection was thus built up.
