Photograph depicting a giant lying in the artist's olive garden, made of a boat for the torso and various materials for the rest of the body. This must most likely be Don Quixote. The famous Don Quixote de la Mancha by the writer Miguel de Cervantes is a recurring theme in Dali's work, which he represented in all its artistic forms.

Vintage silver print, 23.8 x 18 cm, with the photographer's stamp, Enrique Sabater, on the back and handwritten note depicting the photo: Christ of the Rubble Port Lligat, wooden boat, rusty iron, ceramic, hollow bricks and tires. Double signature in black felt pen by Dali on the front and back and located (Port Lligat).


Enrique Sabater was Dalí's secretary for ten years (1968 to 1981) as well as his friend. Self-taught, he was a professional footballer, journalist, photographer, hotel businessman, pilot, collector, specialist and disseminator of Dalí's work, before becoming his secretary and official photographer.
