Alberto KORDA (1928 - 2001) David & Goliath Posterior silver print signed in fine marker on the lower right margin. One of the most famous photos of Fidel Castro during his first official visit to the United States from April 16 to 26, 1959. This photo was taken on the morning of April 19 at the Lincoln Monument in Washington. Fidel Castro placed a wreath there as a sign of respect from the very young Cuban revolutionary government towards the big American brother.
