Set of 2 Ephemera on slightly glazed thick paper.

"Cup and Saucer II" is an Offset print, while "Red Lamps" is an Offset Lithograph.

"Red Lamps" is printed on the front of a folded card. The inside is NOT visible, since it is sealed off with a plastic seal.

Dimensions:
+ Size of the bigger plate: 13 x 20,5 cm / 5,1 x 8 in.
+ Size of the smaller plate: 19,5 x 12,5 cm / 7,6 x 4,9 in.

Condition: Both in overall good condition, with some soft handling creases, and some minor stains at the edges. Images very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors. "Red Lamps" is folded as published, and its seal is intact (please check the pictures). Printed on the back as issued.

"Cup and Saucer II" was designed after the 1977 painted bronze by Roy Lichtenstein. The ephemera was published on the occasion of the November-December 1977 artist's exhibition at the Castelli Gallery, New York.

As for "Red Lamp", it was published on the occasion of Roy Lichtenstein's exhibition at the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Connecticut.

Roy Lichtenstein : Born in New York in 1923, he is one of the most important artists of The American Pop Art movement, finding inspiration in advertising, popular imagery and comic strips. Woman with Flowered Hat has held the record for highest Lichtenstein auction price in May 15, 2013 (sold for $56.1 million, including fees, at Christie's). Approximatly 4500 of his works are exhibited around the world. The artist died in 1997.
