Automatic movement with 42 hour power reserve, water resistant to 5 meters. Limited and numbered edition of 102 copies.
The dial in laser-machined brass, stones from the Levant to give it a diffuse matte effect and an electroplating process to cover it with color by electrolysis, finished with a layer of
matt transparent lacquer, inspired by the Outrenoir painting present at the Soulages museum in Rodez.
Presented in a case that also pays tribute to the contemporary architecture of the Soulages museum created by the Catalans RCR architects, winners of the precious Pritzker Prize in 2017.

Reference: only 96 copies were marketed, two kept by the family, two others for the museum and finally two kept by Baume & Mercier. 102 copies in homage to the
painter's birthday on December 24, 2021.
Created in 1994, the Hampton embodied the shape watch par excellence, distinguishing itself by this design inherited from a model of the House dating from the 1960s, and its art deco inspiration from the 1920s,
an iconic model from Baume et Mercier.
Pierre Soulages :
Born in 1919 in Rodez (Aveyron, France), Pierre Soulages is a french painter and engraver associated since the end of the 1940's to abstract art. He is particuliarly known for his use of reflects in the «black» color, which he called "noir-lumière" or "outrenoir". He realized about1 550 paintings all called «Peinture» followed by their size, he is one of the major representatives of informal painting. Since 1975 the painter received many prizes (Great Prize of painting of Paris, Rembrandt Prize, Great national painting prize, Praemium Imperiale «Painting» category ...). The Soulages museum in Rodez, launched in 2014, keeps the artist's greatest collection in the world.
