Traditionally, Kafigueledio represents justice among the Senoufo. It is linked to the Poro and is as sacred as the Wanyugo mask, which represents wisdom.

By its use we can bring it closer to the Bozo Puppets, manipulated by a dancer and serving as a vector for the designation of the culprit. During this ritual the movements of the manipulator-dancer accentuate the movements of the statuette whose articulated arms gesticulate exaggeratedly. Spectators accept the mask or puppet as being possessed by a being with supreme power.
