Oswaldo Guayasamin :
(1919-1999) was an ecuadorian artist. Highly inspired by south-american arts, he dedicated a big part of his life to paint misery, exploitation, oppression, dictature and racism. He created a panamerican portrait of social and human differences. He is considered as an expressionnist painter of social realism. Guayasamin is one of the masters of ecuadorian art, such as Eduardo Kingman, Enrique Tábara, Felix Arauz, Juan Villafuerte et Anibal Villacis.
