from the scarce Deluxe edition of 100 "1 cent life" portfolio.
Pencil signed by Jean Paul Riopelle on the lower edge
Not to be confused with the common edition of 2000.
Only the limited hand-signed edition of 100 is printed on hand-made "BFK Rives" paper and is of course hand signed by the artist.
Measurements of the frame : 25,59 x 18,89 x 1,18 inches - 65 x 48 x 3 cm
Measurements of the sheet : 22,83 inches x 16,14 inches - 58 x 41 cm
Condition: In very good condition, with some soft handling creases at the edges. Joined in the middle with acid-free tape on the back as issued. Framed.

Lithographie :
La lithographie tire son nom du grec lithos «pierre» et graphein, «écrire». Il s'agit d'une technique d’impression qui permet la création et la reproduction d'oeuvres graphiques en plusieurs exemplaires à partir de dessins reproduits sur une pierre calcaire. Le papier est mis en contact des pierres encrées dans une presse. Les lithographies peuvent être numérotées ou non. Des grands ateliers, comme Maeght ou Mourlot, maitres dans cette technique, et spécialisé dans cette technique on produit des lithographies des plus grands maîtres, très recherchées aujourd'hui
