In 2004, the artist printed his Di Faced Tenner, valued at one million pounds. The play on the word "di-facial" comes from the fact that Banksy substituted the Queen's face for that of Princess Diana.
The altered banknote, which also displays the words "Banksy of England", was released into a crowd at the 2004 Notting Hill Carnival and later this year at the Reading Festival.

Probably born in 1975 in Great Britain, he really began his work as a graffiti artist within the Bristol's DrybreadZ Crew (DBZ) group. Banksy is a revolutionary and subversive artist, uses his art as a true means of communication to proclaim his dismay, dissatisfaction, sadness or revolt. Each time the artist visits a city, it is a real event and generates media interest. Banksy uses stencils to design his creations, each of them is meticulously worked and detailed in order to give his creations a depth and soul. He wishes to remain anonymous in the image of graffiti, which is a hidden art and realized in secret.
