Information: Carlos Carnero was born in Uruguay in 1922. He came to Paris at the end of the 1940s and then settled there. He worked in the studio of André Lhote then with Fernand Léger, of whom he was the workshop assistant until 1955. He is also a close friend of Pablo Picasso.
