Granatschmuck. Wohl Böhmen. Wohl Mitte 19. Jh. bis spätes 19. Jh.

Bestehend aus zwei Broschen, einem Armreif sowie einem Ring. Die Fassung jeweils in unedlen Metallen (Tombak). Eine Brosche sowie der Ring blütenförmig mit Granaten besetzt, eine weitere Brosche in Form einer Schleife. Das vierreihig mit Granaten besetzte Armband mit Steckschloß und Sicherheitskette. Alle Teile ungemarkt. Tragespurig, die Steine partiell mit minimalem Materialverlust. Fassungen oxidationsspurig. Partiell etwas unregelmäßig gearbeitet.

Armband D. (innen) 5,4cm x 5,0 cm, Ring D. 18mm (Ringgröße 57),

Broschen L. 5 cm, L. 2,5 cm.

Garnet : Appelés dans l'antiquité escarboucles. Les Grenats sont des silicates alumineux ou calciques le plus souvent rose ou rouge mais aussi verts, orange, ou jaune. Les principales mines sont en Inde, au Kenya, à Madagascar, au Mozambique, au Nigeria, au Sri Lanka et en Tanzanie. Il ne doit pas être confondu avec le Rubis.
