Automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, water-resistant to 5 meters. Limited and numbered edition of 102 pieces.
The laser-machined brass dial, Levant stones to give it a diffuse matte effect and an electroplating process to cover it with color by electrolysis, finished with a layer of matte transparent lacquer, inspired by the Outrenoir painting in the Soulages Museum in Rodez.
Presented in a setting that also pays homage to the contemporary architecture of the Soulages museum, created by the Catalans RCR architects, winners of the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2017.

New in its box with cardboard packaging, invoice, booklet, papers, VIP card for access to the Rodez museum for two for life and a book on the painter's work.
Reference: only 96 copies were sold, two kept by the family, two for the museum, and two by Baume & Mercier. 102 copies were produced in homage to the painter's birthday on December 24, 2021.
Created in 1994, the Hampton embodied the quintessential shaped watch, distinguished by its design inherited from a model of the House dating from the 1960s, and its art deco inspiration from the 1920s, an iconic model of the Baume & Mercier house.
Pierre Soulages :
Born in 1919 in Rodez (Aveyron, France), Pierre Soulages is a french painter and engraver associated since the end of the 1940's to abstract art. He is particuliarly known for his use of reflects in the «black» color, which he called "noir-lumière" or "outrenoir". He realized about1 550 paintings all called «Peinture» followed by their size, he is one of the major representatives of informal painting. Since 1975 the painter received many prizes (Great Prize of painting of Paris, Rembrandt Prize, Great national painting prize, Praemium Imperiale «Painting» category ...). The Soulages museum in Rodez, launched in 2014, keeps the artist's greatest collection in the world.
