Text of 10 lines written on a paper with the header "Son Abrines - Calamayor - Palma de Mallorca" : "Mon chez Matarano, ce mot pour vous dire que nous avons été très sensible à vos mots de sympathie et vous remercions de tout coeur par cette marque d'amitié. Ma fille est, heureusement, très courageuse. Pilar, Dolorès vous envoient toute leur affection. Et moi aussi, mon cher ami, je vous envoie en même temps qu'à Madame Matarano, mes plus cordiales salutations" ("My dear Matarano, this letter to tell you that we have been very sensitive to your words of sympathy and we thank you with all our heart for this sign of friendship. My daughter is, thankfully, very brave. Pilar, Dolorès send you all their affection. And I as well, my dear friend, I send you at the same time as Mrs Matarano, my most cordial salutations.")

Informations: Very beautiful and rare example of a letter by Miro in which we recognize his typical calligraphy, his graphic style (notably the spectacular presentation of the date) and of course his elegant signature.
