Ichieisai YOSHITSUYA 1822 † 1866.
One of the last great Japanese masters of woodblock prints. He is best known for his warrior drawings or scenes from Japanese history and legends.

Woodcut, printed in color, on Japan paper.
Traces of old montage on the back
and four small holes.
Signed "Ichieisai Yoshitsuya". Event bearing the stamp of censorship, published by Tsutaya.
