Made from polyurethane foam covered with 100% recycled PET fiber wadding and a water-repellent polyester canvas.


Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain). She lives and works in Milan. She studied Architecture at the Politecnico de Madrid and the Politecnico de Milan, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni. In 2001, she opened her own studio and has since worked in the product design, interior design and architecture sectors. She has produced products for the most important Italian and international companies, including: Agape, Alessi, Axor-Hansgrohe, Baccarat, Flos, Gan, Georg Jensen, Glas Italia, Haworth, Kartell, Kvadrat, Listone Giordano, Louis Vuitton and Verywood. Some of its products are exhibited in the largest art and design museums, including the MoMA in New York, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, the Design Museum in Zurich, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Milan Triennale Museum. She has won various international awards, among others: the Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes from the Spanish Government: the Order of Isabella the Catholic, awarded by the King of Spain Juan Carlos I, “Designer of the decade” for Home and Häuser magazines, “Designer of the year” for Wallpaper, AD Spain, Elle Decor International and Architektur und Wohnen magazines.
