The bas relief, depicted "Corpus Hipercubus", comes from an artwork of the Master Salvador Dalì (preserved at MOMA in New York) and it was realized by the artisans of the Istituto Grafico Italiano
with the technique of transference from the flat figure to the relief. The subject is put in a galvanic plating, in silver and in gold. Finally it is hand colored by the IGI's artisans.
The theme of Crucifixion is represented by the artist in an innovative way: indeed he substitutes the cross for eight cubes that remind us of its form. A sort of four-dimensional iperc-ube, suspended
in the air, that transmit us a strong metaphysical effect.
The bas relief is signed in plate lower left and numbered 131/499.
