The bas relief, depicted "Eve", comes from an artwork of the Master Salvador Dalì and it was realized by the artisans of the Istituto Grafico Italiano with the technique of transference from the flat
figure to the relief. The subject is put in a galvanic plating, in silver and in gold.
The artwork represents Eve, the progenitor of the human kind, near the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil", of which the fruits were prohibited to her and Adam. From the tree comes down the
tempting snake which covers in part her nudity. The Garden of Eden by Dalì is caracterized by typicall elements of his surrealistic style.
The bas relief is signed in plate lower left and numbered 147/299.
