In 1956, the french art critic and publisher Tériade brought out a special issue of the legendary art magazine Verve, which is dedicated exclusively to one of the main themes of Marc Chagall: the Bible.
"The Bible" is focused on the characters of the Old Testament, as the Founding Fathers, the kings, the prophets and the angels.
Four years later, in 1960, was re-released "Illustrations for The Bible", with another 24 color beautiful lithographs, hence the lithograph of Cain and Abel, with vibrant colors.
