This work, from the surrealist master Mirò, is no. 1 of a series of 20 lithographs, created to illustrate the book "Maravillas con Variaciones Acrósticas en El Jardín de Miró" (Wonders with Acrostic Variations in Miro 's Garden) by Rafael Alberti, printed in 1975.
Using playful and joyful colours, Joan Miró creates compositions made by a controlled chaos, with series of colored curved lines and spotted forms. Primary colors of red, blue, and yellow dominate the composition.
