This work is from the Master of the twentieth century Henri Matisse, the most famous exponent of the Fauves movement. This composition is part of the special edition of his lithographic works "Matisse - Papiers peints découpés", edited in two hundred copies. The nude woman seen from the back is the subject of the artwork. Matisse caresses forms and curves with his simple stretched lines
The lithograph is numbered on the bottom right corner in Roman numerals (CLXVII / CC), and is signed and dated 1949 by the artist in the lower left.
