Michel Chemiakin : Born in 1943 in Moscow, Mikhaïl Chemiakin is a russian sculptor, painter, theater decorator, controversial representative of the non-conformist art tradition of Saint Petersburg. In 1971, He was forced into exile from Soviet Union for not being conformed to the standards of socialist realism. He settled in France and published Apollon-77, a post-stalinian art almanac, of poesy and photography. In 1981, he moved to New York and now lives in France.
