Nakago with an ana mekugi, unsigned.
Tsuka recreated with two menugi with a pattern of armoured epaulets. Wrought iron Tsuba and shibuichi with scroll decoration. Iron fushi and kashira and shakudo.

Bamboo Mekugi, blade (Togi) without forging defect at medium polishing. Shinto period, around 1830.
Blade length: 40.5 cm
Total length: 63 cm.

Edo : (1603 – 1868). Sometimes refered as Tokugawa period, is the period of the Tokugawa shogunate.The period came to an end with the Meiji Restoration in 1868. The period is named after the name of the capital of the shogunate, nowdays Tokyo
