Born in 1974 in Mulhouse, Élisabeth Hering has lived and worked in Paris for 22 years. Graduated with a Master's degree in Art History from the University of Strasbourg on the History of
Photography (first dissertation presented to the Faculty in this field in 1996), Élisabeth trained as a photographer at René's workshop Christmas, "Cinema, Audiovisual" course, shooting,
development and black and white film photo prints. She presents a series on Lisbon.
Having obtained a double degree, she flew to NYC in 1999, her dream city. The young woman sharpens her eye and returns with her suitcase full of negatives.
His photography - almost always in black & white and on film - explores moments suspended in time and space. She likes urban landscapes at night and the marked presence of trees and plants, or
how they reshape the nocturnal universe. Élisabeth Hering fleshes out and nourishes her own mental universe through literature and poetry.
For many years, she has held a position in a large Parisian photo laboratory providing advice and monitoring projects for photographers, galleries and museums.
His personal photographic works are regularly presented in group exhibitions.
