Dimension margins included: 32.7 x 42.8 cm Good condition Certificate of authenticity from the son of photographer Dante Diaz Korda Famous photograph of Che Guevara immortalized on March 5, 1960 by the Cuban photographer Alberto Korda, this charismatic portrait of Che with his black and rebellious gaze traveled around the world and traveled through time. Korda tells us that a demonstration had been organized by Fidel Castro in homage to the victims of the sabotage of the French ship La Coubre which anchored in Cuban waters. A platform had been set up, it was then that Che Guevara appeared in the background of Fidel Castro who was in the company of Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre. His dark and intense gaze was caught on the spot by the photographer. But this photo was not retained by the revolutionary newspaper "Revolución" which published it only in February 1961. Its notoriety was acquired after the death of the revolutionary, on October 9, 1967, when the Italian publisher Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, who had bought the summer before a set of photos of Che Guevara with Korda, printed the portrait on several posters which he sold in thousands of copies. The legend was on.
