INFORMATION: JR is a famous French contemporary artist. This work represents the star comedians of silent films, Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd. The gigantic collage is visible from
the new hotel of the MK2 group, Paradiso, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The image was unveiled during confinement with the artist's comment "Waiting for cinemas to reopen".
This rising artist is represented by Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin.

lot: the J and the R, JR.
From his real name Jean-René, JR is a young urban photographer, street artist born in Paris in 1983. He accumulates the projects of street-art, all more monumental than the others, either by
their
steps as by their areas.
Initially, it is through graffiti that the artist penetrates the art of the street, but in 2001, he recovers a camera in the Paris metro and grape. Everyone around him becomes a source of
inspiration, a phenomenon that will continue and fuel itself.
