Ancient Egyptian decorated stucco sarcophagus of a stillborn child



700 - 300 BC - Egypt

Damages: Grave robbers removed the bottom to extract valuables and also removed the mummy inside. Also a piece of the front hieroglyphs was damaged.
Restorations: The front 'feet' part is re-attached, some minor cracks are repaired and the face was cleaned. Not repainted!

Registered and insured shipping.

Provenance:
It has been in the seller's possession since 2017.
Previous owner: Dutch collector/dealer in the 1980's. After that bought by a collector in de Bilt, The Netherlands.
The object is obtained through legal ways.

Important information:

Shipping within the EU doesn't require an export license.

In case of shipping outside the EU an export license is required which I will provide with no additional costs. However, it can take up to 8 weeks for the bureau of Culture to provide the license.
Also keep in mind the additional custom costs for importing this item.
