The leaflet bears the stamp of the publisher and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, "Imprimerie Chaix".
The first edition was created in 1897 for the New York Magazine "The Century Magazine".
The lithograph was published by "Les Maîtres de l'Affiche" in the "Imprimerie Chaix" in 1897. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate n°126) which represented the reproductions of the
most
beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time .
