Signed and dated on the plate on the bottom right corner.

Blind stamp from L'Estampe Moderne lower right margin.

Dimensions:

+ Size of the image: 25,5 x 33 cm / 10 x 12,9 in.

Condition: In very good condition with some soft handling creases and some minor stains in the margins. One light fold in the lower left corner and in the right margin. Image very clean otherwise.

Issued from the famous set L' Estampe Moderne.

Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Modern was a portfolio printed between 1897-1898, which contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each ; each commissioned only for this series.

As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
