José Maria David :
(1944 -) is a French sculptor. His work has focused primarily on sculpturing animals . His style is characterized by the speed of execution. His career first began as an antique dealer before becoming a sculptor in 1986. He has created 300 sculptures over twenty years. His works are so well appreciated by the public, that some of them can reach up to 250 000 € at auctions (like one of his Cheetahs, sold at auction in 2010 in Deauville).
