Verdi writes about Genoa where he resided with his wife, Giuseppina, from September 1874. He worries about not having news about Corticelli. He asked him what the weather was like because he planned
to come Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to Saint Agatha.
Verdi spent the last years of his life between Milan, Genoa and Saint Agatha.
