Wood, patina, worn brown, traces of kaolin.
Height: 27 cm
What is made particularly visible here by the fine and regular features of the face, the interiority given by the downcast eyes with bulging eyelids, the numerous scarifications which indicate the identity, the small disdainful pout of the mouth, the coquettishness of the asymmetrical hairstyle which the sculptor, in his creativity, wanted to be symmetrical to the beard.
Note the exquisite detail of the ornamentation.
Compared to others, the creation of this mask can be placed in the years 1930-1950.
