Extraordinary Akan bracelet, attributed to the Baoulé ethnic group - Ivory Coast.
Large coin, which could also be used as currency.
Magnificent details. Beautiful patina of verdigris aspect.
The custom-made plinth visible in the photos is part of the auction.

Ex collection Kabiné Kaba.
Kabine Kaba was an African art dealer, who died in 2015 at the age of over 90. Coming from Guinea and living in Bouaké when he was young, he is known as one of the best African art dealers in Côte d'Ivoire (if not the best) of all time. He provided museum quality objects to René David, Galerie Walu, Basel, Switzeland.
