Marie Laurencin : (1883-1956) is a woman painter, illustrator, engraver and writter, a time fellow studdent of Braque, Matisse, Picasso, her unclassifiable style places itself between cubism and fauvism closed to magic realism. Marie Laurencin is a very revered artist in Europe but also in US and Japan where an entire museum is dedicated to her. Her works can be seen in many museums, As in The US, The Walker Art Center, The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, The Barnes Foundation, The MOMA, The Carnegie Museum of art, or The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The Bridgestone Museum of art Ishibashi Foundation, The Nagoya City Art Museum, The Fuji Art Museum, and of course The Marie Laurencin Museum in Japan. The "Centre Pompidou" (National Museum of modern Art) and The "Orangerie" Museum in Paris. The Ashmolean Museum of Art and The Tate Collection in UK .
