The sheet has the editor's stamp and the lithograph is also authenticated by the editor's dry stamp. Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition was created in 1888 for Adolphe Leon Willette's exhibition "A. Willette's Exhibition of Paintings and Drawings" ("L'Exposition de Tableaux et de Dessins de A. Willette").
The lithograph was edited by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1897. It is part of that eponymous portfolio (plate n°97) showing the reproductions of the most beautiful
illustrated
posters by the great artists of the time.
Excellent condition, a slight clear wet stain in the bottom left corner (see pictures).
