This is probably a view of Montmartre behind the Moulin de la Galette, where there were gardens and "the Moulin à Poivre" which was notably painted by Vincent Van Gogh and Maurice Utrillo. This
painting can be compared to the one in the catalogue raisonné of Maclet's work established by Jean Cottel under the reference # 532. The character appearing on the right of the work could be M
Debray, former miller of Montmartre.
Good condition, small cracks, wear on the frame
