Joël Froment : Joël Froment (1938) is a French painter and sculptor marked by colour and energy. He stayed at Villa Medicis in Rome from 1968 to 1972 and won the 1st Grand Prix de Rome in 1968. After a period of lyrical abstraction, he moves towards a geometric, minimalist abstraction.
