INFORMATION: This engraving is part of the suite "Les chants de Maldoror". The brass instruments were engraved by Dali in 1934 but only half of the edition was produced (Skira edition).
In 1974, the second half of the edition was published by Pierre Argillet / Grafik Europa from the original matrices reworked by Dali and all the plates were signed by Dali, under the supervision of a bailiff.
This is one of the artist's rarest and most sought-after series, featuring the first prints made by Dali.
The engraving will be accompanied by a photocopy of proof of the print attesting to the origin.
