Frank Will :
(1900-1951) is a French painter, a typical "Montmartre" figure. He was the son of the painter Franck Boggs who taught him painting. He was very close to the painters Gen-Paul and Leprin, with whom he played in several amateur orchestras.
From 1929, he was represented by the galerie Georges Petit, and exhibited then at Hector Brame, who was his fathers' art trader.
His work evolved from a "populist post-impressionnism" marked by the Montmartre "motif", to a strong expressionnism.
He died in 1951 from a lung abscess, probably caused by his heavy lifestyle.
