The sheet bears the stamp of the publisher and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, the Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition was created in 1897 for the English novel "Prayer of the Virgin of Gold" by Richard le Gallienne.
The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1897. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate n ° 128) which represented the reproductions of the most
beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time.
