The leaflet bears the stamp of the publisher and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition was created in 1893 for the English Savoy Theater, for the play "The Chieftain"
The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1895. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate n ° 48) which represented the reproductions of the most
beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time.
In very good condition, some tiny traces of foxing in the margins and the right edge of the leaflet slightly yellowed.
