One of the most beautiful cover designed by Mucha for this artistic and literary Art Nouveau magazine, which was published periodically. Very scarce in this exceptional condition, with gold ink !

With illustrations by Leandre, J.P. Laurens, Bac, Balluriau... and texts in French.

Dimensions:
Size of the sheet : 42 x 31 cm / 16.5 x 12.2 in.

Condition: In good condition, one small tear lower left margin and one tear on the upper left corner, some minor stains and traces of aging. Image very clean otherwise with gold ink and vivid colors.

Mucha designed four different covers for this magazine, which was published periodically for the Mid-Lent season Carnival.
Here, he presents a parade of students at the feet of the Queen of the Carnival. She is wearing a crown and an elaborate cloak adorned with the coat of arms of Paris.
