Sayed-Haider Raza : (1922-) is an indian contemporary painter. He was born in 1922 in India. He was trained at The fine-arts school of Nagour, at The Sir JJ School of Arts of Mumbai, and then at The fine-arts School of Paris from 1950 to 1953. He is the founder of the "Progressive artist group". He realized his first solo exhibition in 1958 at the Lara Vincy gallery in Paris. His works are since exhibited in great collections throughout the world (Oslo, Grenoble, Bernes, Mumbai, Paris, New Delhi...).
