Roland Penrose :
(1900-1984) was a british painter, photographer, and poet. He introduced Surrealism to Great Britain, and became the animator of the group. After studying architecture in Cambridge, he settled in Paris where he met the surrealists and Valentine Boué he later married In 1936, he organized the first International exhibition of surrealism. This exhibition was the occasion of forming the english group of surrealists.
