Condition: In good condition, with minor stains in the margins and one minor defect on the left border margin. Slight discoloration at edges. Image very clean otherwise.
Issued from "Dictionnaire des Arts Décoratifs" by Paul Rouaix, a two-volume compendium, thought of as a handbook for artists, craftsmen, and even amateurs. This in-8 covers Decorative Art from the
"prehistoric flint to Modern style".
It included a total of +600 etchings and 17 plates. The same design was used for the covers by Alphonse Mucha.
