Vishnu head in beige sandstone with a beautiful expression enhanced by the eroding patina.

Former French collection.
Height: 16 cm (head only, without the Plexiglas base)

Vishnu : Vishnu is one of the three gods of Hinduism (the two ohers being Shiva and Brahma). Vishnu is often depicted reclining on a lotus flower above the Shesha Naga. Lakshmi is Vishnu's consort, his mount is the eagle geruda. Vishnu's main attributes are : a mace, a chakra, a conch shell and a lotus flower
